General
Protecting personal data is important to me. Personal data is processed on this website only to the extent necessary to operate the website, provide its functions and handle enquiries. It is not passed on to third parties for marketing purposes.
Processing takes place in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revDSG/revFADP) and – where applicable – the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Contact form and email delivery
When you get in touch via the form, your name, email address and the content of your message are processed. This information is used solely to transmit and respond to your enquiry and is not used for any further purposes.
The form submission is processed server-side by a function on the hosting platform Netlify. The email itself is sent using the Resend service of Resend, Inc., USA. The email address entered in the form is used exclusively as the reply-to address. The technical sender is a verified Resend address.
Message content is not stored in a separate database. It is processed via the sending interface and then received in the personal email inbox of the controller.
An invisible honeypot field and short-term IP-based rate limiting are used to reduce spam and misuse. Form content is not deliberately logged.
Server log files and hosting
This website is hosted by Netlify.
When the website is accessed, technically necessary connection data is processed. This may include in particular the IP address, browser and device information, the page accessed, the referrer, and the date and time of access.
This processing is necessary for the provision, security and stability of the website. Technical log data may be processed by the hosting provider. I do not use this data for marketing purposes or combine it with other data sources.
Audience measurement with Plausible Analytics
This website uses Plausible Analytics for anonymous and aggregated analysis of usage.
Plausible does not use cookies and does not store any persistent personal identifiers. It records in particular page views, traffic sources, devices used, and interactions with selected sections, links and downloads.
On this website, for example, reaching certain sections of a page, downloading the CV, clicks on external links and the successful submission of the contact form may be analysed as aggregated events.
Form content, names and email addresses are not transmitted to Plausible.
The analysis serves solely to improve the content, navigation and usability of the website.
Neither Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Hotjar, session recordings nor fingerprinting technologies are used. Individual visitors are not identified.
Cookies and consent
This website currently uses no cookies that require consent.
The audience measurement with Plausible Analytics works without cookies and without persistent personal identifiers.
For this reason, no cookie or consent banner is currently displayed.
Should third-party services requiring consent be integrated in the future, they will only be loaded after active consent. In that case, a consent banner with genuine choices will be displayed and this privacy policy will be amended accordingly.
External links
Links to external services, such as LinkedIn, may open in a new browser tab. Data is only processed under the respective provider's terms once the external service is accessed.
Your rights
Within the scope of the applicable data protection provisions, you have in particular the right to access, rectify and delete your personal data and, where applicable, to restrict or object to processing.
For such requests, please contact the email address given above.
